LED之PWM控制

本文主要在探討以脈波調變訊號控制LED燈亮度,一種具有可調性迴授控制而應用於低功率照明的可調光LED燈泡,LED在照明系統上已經成為很常用的半導體光源,它具有長時間的使用壽命,不像傳統的螢光燈,LED沒有含毒性的水銀成分。為了達到足夠的光照程度,一般會使用多顆LED並聯,同時也需要調光功能以滿足對於各種亮度的需求與節能的考量。

本文使用PWM調光方法,以同時調節LED電流的寬度以及高度。為何選擇用PWM控制而不選用傳統電阻調光,兩者間之差異,以及介紹PWM控制的簡易原理及元件配置,也實際實作雛型電路,以驗證此架構的可行性。

This paper presents a pulse width modulation to control the LED, the LED driver with adaptive feedback control for low-power lighting applications, LED lighting systems have become the commonly used semiconductor light source, it have a long life, unlike traditional lamps, LED does not contain mercury. Normally, we are tendency to use multiple LED in parallel to achieve the illumination level, and also we need LED dimming to satisfy brightness and power save.

This paper we use PWM dimming to adjust the LED current's width and height. Why we use PWM dimming instead of using traditional resistive dimming. And introduce a principle of simple PWM control and element configuration, at last, we implement a prototype circuit to verify the feasibility of this paper.
